Microsoft has inadvertently let slip on a partner site that it will be launching the Xbox 360 console in America on the November 4 2005 according to Xbox gaming site Xbox360.com.

The console is also rumoured to be launching in the UK on the 5 November in the UK with UK gaming store Gamestation taking Pre-orders in store on the new console.

The error, which is said to have been an accident, was taken down straight away. The November launch date would be key for Microsoft if they are hoping on getting consoles in homes for Christmas.
