Datel launch 4Gb Hard Drive for PSP

Battery and hard drive in one unit

NEWS: 7 October 2005 19:52 GMT by Stuart Miles

Datel, a company that specialises in accessories for game consoles is about to launch a 4Gb hard drive with included battery for the PSP according to games accessory store darkplanets.co.uk.

The news of a hard drive for the handheld console will please movie junkies currently restricted to a 1GB Pro Duo Memory Stick.

The built-in battery also promises to double the life of your PSP offering around 10 hours of gaming from one session.

A price is yet to be confirmed for the unit; however, the store expects it to be around £150 when it does become available later this month.

As a 1Gb card costs around £70 from SanDisk, this should be a bargain.
