Miami Vice coming to a PSP near you

Fashion conscious cops land on PSP

NEWS: 25 April 2006 17:03 GMT by Stuart Miles

Vivendi Universal Games has announced it will be launching Miami Vice The Game for the PSP this summer.

The third-person action shooter game is inspired by the new movie staring Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell due out in July.

Gamers will be able to play Crockett or Tubbs, the fashion conscious undercover cops in the notorious world of Miami Vice.

Players follow a storyline set just before the events of the film.

Gamers must build up the nefarious reputation necessary to infiltrate the seedy underbelly of South Beach, and ultimately bring down the organization of an "untouchable" South American drug lord.

Gamers will be able to play either character or co-operative using two linked PSP consoles.
