Sony updates PSP firmware

Version 2.71 available for download

NEWS: 2 June 2006 10:35 GMT by Amber Maitland

Although PSP firmware 2.70 was just released in April, Sony has already issued 2.71.

One of the two changes included in the update is the ability to download game demos from the PSP internet browser to the memory stick.

The other fixes the problem with the LocationFree Player so that video output is displayed correctly when an external tuner is selected.
