LEGOs Mobile for a second Star Wars

Plans announced for a new LEGO Star Wars mobile game

NEWS: 3 January 2007 12:20 GMT by Chris Ford

It would seem that the little plastic figures are not content with just their first outing onto mobiles and are planning to storm back soon. THQ Wireless and TT Games Publishing Ltd today announced their plans to release LEGO Star Wars II Mobile, the sequel to the 2005 foray.

Tipped for an international release this winter LEGO Star Wars II Mobile includes more family friendly LEGO action, puzzles and humour, the likes of which credited the original LEGO Star Wars.

The game starts with Luke Skywalker setting off to bring back the wandering beepster R2-D2, who trots off the moment the team land the Millennium Falcon on the Death Star. Fans will be able to control any of the trio, each with their own special powers. Leia is a hotshot with her blaster, while R2-D2 is nerdy geek boy when it comes to solving the game’s puzzles. In keeping with other LEGO Star Wars games, players can control one game character while leaving the other characters in strategic locations where they can act independently, or acting as back up.
