The new year doesn’t get much happier than this as Planet TFX releases a download of Quake 3 Fortress Extreme, and for free what is more! You lucky people!

The games forum has been a long time supporter of Quake, introducing new versions of older games by including sometimes controversial features. New moves like "Bunnyhopping", "Conc-Jumping", and "Rocket-Jumping" add new dimensions and new skills to learn.

By introducing new game play Planet TFX hope to lure in younger players to older games, and keep older blaster fans happy too with a whiff of nostalgia.
