EA have given warning of two new versions of The Godfather; The Godfather The Don’s Edition for PS3 and The Godfather Blackhand Edition for Wii.

The aim will be to gain influence and take over NYC. Start as a street soldier and work your way up to Don, but be careful. You’ll have to keep your ears open and your eyes peeled to make to right decisions in these fully interactive open-world games scheduled to ship in March 2007.

The Don’s Edition will include The Corleone Expansion Pack, bringing new gameplay and missions while The Blackhand Edition will unleash an enhanced combat experience with motion-based Blackhand Control.

Both editions were developed to take full technological advantage of the two new consoles. The Don’s Edition and the SIXAXIS allow you to manhandle your opponent, while the Wii-mote and Nunckuck let you bring the hurt to anyone who opposes your rise.
