PlayStation advertisers TBWA have let slip that they will begin to crank up their campaign machine for PS3 at the end of March, which agrees with details from a retail source that puts the date at the 23rd.

Last month, David Reeves, senior SCEE man, said that the PS3 is certainly on course for a March arrival in Europe, despite rumours to the contrary. However, this can not be taken as Sony gospel but the same retail source claimed that there would be an official announcement of the launch within the next 2 weeks.

We here certainly hope so. Beset by manufacturing problems and shipping delays, Europe's PS3s were opted to the Japanese and US markets for the Christmas rush.
