This year’s Xbox Big Day Out, running from 26th February to 1st March 2007 in Val d'Isère, France, looks set to bury all previous events under a mountain of amazing action, music, gaming and snow!

The Xbox sponsored event, a freestyle ski and snowboard competition, has taken to the slopes for the last decade but this year is to be bigger than ever and as much action takes place off-piste as on.

Up to 30,000 are expected to go to the French resort for four days of music, with DJs like Scratch Perverts, Fabio and Grooverider, festivities and world-class snowboarding.

And don’t worry if you won’t be able to make it to Val d’Isere. All week Xbox will give you the chance to game and chat on Xbox Live with the riders and DJs in their Game with Fame sessions, and play the latest next generation Xbox 360 games with gamers across Europe.

The action on the slopes won’t be all downhill either. Val d'Isère is home to "Le Monster", the biggest hip jump the Alps has ever seen and riders are sure to be grabbing some big air!
