Konami Digital Entertainment has thrown down the gauntlet to all fans of Metal Gear Solid with their announcement of the launch of dedicated online leagues for Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence for PS2 in PAL territories.

The leagues will permit European fans of the game to sneak, search, and destroy within officially sanctioned events.

Games-Services will be hosting multi-lingual events (English, French, German, Spanish and Italian) and fans of Subsistence can register online to take part for exclusive Konami prizes and kudos on the Leader board of Euro Zone gamers.

Players will be able to establish their own clans and set up their own clashes, from Death Match, Team Death Match, Capture, Rescue, and Sneaking Missions. Performances from across the system will go towards the league table to show just who is top.
