KOEI, the respected strategy masters, have announced a European release date of March 16, 2007 for Samurai Warriors 2: Empires, a Tactical Action game set in Feudal Japan which will be available for both the Xbox 360 and PS2.

Samurai Warriors 2: Empires takes strategic gameplay to the limits with a huge array of choices and opportunities for the player to shape policies and build a force capable of uniting all of the warring states under one ruler in Japan’s Sengoku or “Warring States” era.

Action gamers get a look in as well, as the strategy pays of on the battlefield bringing in aspects of fighting when it’s time to go head to head with anyone who opposes your plans for unification.

In addition to the Empire Mode, Samurai Warriors 2: Empires includes a Free Mode which allows you to choose any stage and fight through it using any officer in the game.

The game also includes an extensive gallery of rare artwork, CG sequences, and detailed information on tactics and formations, as well as visual and voice samples of all officers and troops within the game.
