Wii Lineup For First Quarter 2007

New and Classic titles for next-gen gamers

NEWS: 25 January 2007 10:24 GMT by Chris Ford

After the Christmas rush for the Wii, Nintendo have announced what their stable is to provide for the first quarter of this year.

Keen to add to the current 34 Wii titles, the coming months will see the release of such goodies as SSX Blur, The Godfather: Blackhand Edition and a new Prince of Persia: Rival Swords game.

For fans of classic games there’ll be The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and even Mario Kart 64 for the Wii Shop Channel, while casual gamers will find lots to do in Wii Play with games like Billiards, Fishing and Shooting Range.

"Our tremendous worldwide launch shows people, from experienced players to non-players, are hungry for the kinds of entertainment only Wii provides", says Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime. "Wii hardware production continues full bore, and every week we're delivering more incredible content to further expand the experience."
