THQ have confirmed that their popular title Saints Row will be making the jump for Xbox 360 onto PS3 sometime in the second quarter of this year.

The rumble will be playable online via the PlayStation Network, where gamers will be able to cruise the streets of Stilwater as a member of the Third Street saints gang looking for trouble.

With its vast area to explore and varied action the transition is sure to go down well with PS3 fans.

THQ executive vice president of worldwide publishing, Kelly Flock stated, “Saints Row established itself as one of the most successful original properties in next generation gaming, and we’re excited about bringing the groundbreaking experience to PS3 system fans worldwide”.
