In preparation for the long walk to the ring, EA will be bringing fight fans the chance to do battle on PS3 in Fight Night Round 3.

We here at Gamesdog have heard rumour of a March 27 release which ties it in with the coming of the next-gen console to the Euro Zone.

The Xbox 360 version of the game was garnered with critical acclaim so we here are hoping for a repeat performance on Sony’s platform.

Featuring exclusive content including a comprehensive ESPN Integration package, film quality graphics and a new first person mode called Get in the Ring, the PS3 version shouldn’t pull any punches.

Get in the Ring mode will let gamers experience the fight through the eyes of the boxer, getting them as close as a gamer will ever come to getting into the ring and trading blows with the greatest boxers of all time like Oscar De La Hoya, Muhammad Ali, and many others.
