Heads up for Def Jam – new screens

Head renders mark Def Jam out

NEWS: 8 February 2007 10:54 GMT by Chris Ford

The fusion of hip-hop and gaming is well and truly in the house come March 23, when Def Jam: Icon hits the streets for Xbox 360 and PS3.

The hottest environments explode to life as you figure the best way to run "yo bidness". You’ll need to add beats and take control of the music, using the analogue sticks like turntables.

Def Jam: Icon will feature an all-new single-player story, the life of a high-roller hip-hop mogul whose mission in life is to build a record label, discover new superstars, and become a hip hop icon .

Some of the biggest names in hip-hop are involved, like Big Boi, Ludacris, T.I., Sean Paul and more. Just check out some of the head renderings here to be sure of the game’s creds!
