Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has confirmed that there will be 30 titles available for the PS3 as of day one, the launch on March 23.

Dismissing suggestions of staggered releases, Sony's David Wilson said, "It is our aspiration that all of the 30 titles mentioned in our announcement will be available at launch of PS3 on 23rd March".

The launch titles include downloadable games plus first-party offerings such as Resistance: Fall of Man, Ridge Racer 7, Tekken: Dark Resurrection and Motorstorm.

Third-party games count among their number Oblivion, Tony Hawk’s Project 8, Fight Night Round 3, The Godfather: The Don’s Edition and Call of Duty 3.
