Transformers, more than meets the Wii

Morphic machines merge across consoles

NEWS: 14 February 2007 9:56 GMT by Chris Ford

Coming this summer, across the format spectrum, is Transformers: The Game, a title based on Paramount Picture’s upcoming feature film.

To be available on Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, PS2 and PC at home, or PSP and DS when you’re out and about, Transformers: The Game will give gamers the chance to play as either Autobots or Decepticons.

And oh, won’t there be some massive power play! Robots in disguise it is as you choose to either protect or destroy Earth.

Master each character’s unique weapons, moves and instantaneous transformations that allow them to effortlessly switch between vehicle and robot mode, and then… well, go on the rampage in fully destructible environments. Crush whatever gets in your path, or takes your fancy, using all objects as weapons along with firepower to obliterate enemies.
