Capcom announce more goodies than expected

NEWS: 19 February 2007 11:26 GMT by Chris Ford

Don’t you just love surprises? We here certainly do and it was such a joy to see that Capcom have announced a whole host of new Lost Planet bits and pieces to help banish the winter blues.

Capcom had revealed a while back the post-launch support for Extreme Condition but they have now let it be known that more is on its way.

Over the coming weeks and months seven new multi-player maps will be released. One, the "Battleground" map, will be free (gratis, without charge, a give away, cost you nix, nil, naught, nothing!) and the others put into three map packs to be sold on Xbox Live Marketplace.

The first pack is expected to be available about March 9, and includes the maps "Radar Field", for close combat, and "Island 902", with land and underwater play. It will cost 400 Microsoft points ($5).
