Namco Bandai Games have announced that the legendary Tekken series is coming to PS3 later this month with Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection.

The game will be available as an exclusive download from the PlayStation Store giving fans a chance to experience the Tekken hand to hand combat thrill on Sony’s next-Gen console.

“We are thrilled to announce that starting later this month, fighting game fans will have the opportunity to experience the ultimate fighting series, Tekken, on the PS3 system, for the first time”, said Makoto Iwai, Executive Vice President and COO at Namco Bandai Games America Inc.

“With lightning fast gameplay, gorgeous next-gen graphics and a massive line-up of characters to choose from, Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection on the PS3, will deliver the most incredible fighting experience to date as players battle it out to be crowned King of the Iron Fist Tournament.”

New features will include the opportunity to play as Jinpachi Mishima, the previously unplayable boss from the arcade game.
