World Championship Poker 2 release date slips

Oxygen errs on the side of caution to perfect sim, but release new screens by way of apology

NEWS: 28 February 2007 10:00 GMT by Chris Ford

Oxygen Games have disappointed poker fans by announcing that it will delay the release of the highly anticipated World Championship Poker 2.

The poker sim, to be available on Xbox 360, PS2, PSP and PC, is now set for release on April 20 on all the formats, having slipped back from March 16.

The publisher decided on the date slip so that more time and effort could be placed on perfecting its European localisation.

Despite this decision Oxygen Games has released some new screens to appease fans.
