Bored with being tied to a more sedimentary form of enjoying the classic Sim City, EA have made plans for the franchise to return with a version on the Nintendo DS.

Expected sometime in the summer the title will see unique action features of the Nintendo DS, and there’ll be an entirely new way to play this internationally acclaimed franchise.

As always with Sim City, players will be able to create and control their city in the palm of their hands using the stylus and built-in microphone controls of the DS. Yes, that’s right; even the microphone – blowing into the microphone will put out fires!

Players will also be able to communicate with each other with the wireless data exchange, and the game also offers a wide array of recognizable international landmarks to spice up your city.
