M.A.C.H – new territory and new screens

The PSP’s first aerial combat title gets ready for a spring take off

NEWS: 2 March 2007 11:47 GMT by Chris Ford

Vivendi’s Sierra Entertainment announced the development of M.A.C.H. (Modified Air Combat Heroes) a short while back and to get gamers ready for some high flying stunts they’ve decided to release some new screenshots.

Pegged for a Spring 2007 release, M.A.C.H. will be the first flight combat/racing game exclusively for the PSP.

Gamers fly as outlaw pilots, competing in aerial contests of skill, speed and weaponry. The ultimate prize is glory and the ultimate price is death as hobbyist take to the skies to race and fight.

There’s also multiplayer action to go up against up to eight real-world rivals over an ad hoc wireless network or via Game Sharing mode.

M.A.C.H. shipped in Japan back in January and has been highly praised in the Japanese press.

“We are proud of the accolades M.A.C.H. has received from highly respected gaming publications such as Weekly Famitsu”, said Cindy Cook, chief strategy and marketing officer for Vivendi Games.

“This endorsement of M.A.C.H.’s thrilling aerial combat and racing action reinforces our goal of providing an arcade-style gameplay experience that will deliver intense pick-up-and-play excitement for any PSP or flying fan.”
