Exhibition organiser Tandem Events is to set a series of get-togethers in order to give graduates the chance to come face to face with publishers and developers.

Games Grads will be one-day events to work with universities running computer and video games courses so that the brightest up’n’coming stars can showcase themselves to the industry bigshots.

The fairs will take place in Manchester and London on April 24 and 26, respectively.

“The UK computer and video games industry is worth more than £2 billion annually and, with three next-Gen platforms on the market this year, there is huge potential for further growth in 2007 and beyond. That growth will require fresh, and very talented, blood, and that’s where Games Grads comes in”, commented Andy Lane, managing director of Tandem Events.
