From the burnt out wreckage of ancient conflict, a cosmic war threatens to start and endanger all life with either death or enslavement. You are part of the galaxy’s last line of defense, the last free sentient beings standing between freedom and despair.

Although no release date has yet been settled on, NCsoft have released some screenshots and concept art to get you in the mood for their upcoming MMO, Tabula Rasa.

There’ll be a whole host of worlds and environment to explore, from lush forest planets to desolate volcanic moons, and, of course, alien civilizations to interact with. And don’t you just know that not all that interaction will be friendly.

You’ll be going up against some tough alien opposition, with plenty of armored mechanoids and vicious predators! But you’ll have a wide range of exotic weapons and unique alien powers to help you on the way as the Allied Free Sentients (AFS) in their desperate fight against extinction.

With action and an ongoing storyline, Tabula Rasa promises to deliver on many levels. You’ll have to employ more than just firepower and brute strength. There’ll be ethical decisions to make, as well as trades to make and clans to join, and interactive voice chat to keep you in touch with your troops.
