The ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 is opening this weekend, and to celebrate fans can put on their pads with a Brian Lara International Cricket 2007 playable demo, which is available to download today from Xbox Live Marketplace for 360 gamers or a PC version at the link below.

The demo gives gamers the chance to compete in a warm-up 1-day match of three overs between England and Australia, taken from the ICC Champions Trophy 2006 in India. Fans can try their hand at batting, bowling and fielding.

The games itself will be out on March 23, and promises to be the most authentic edition yet with more official content than ever before.
