THQ have announced that villages shall be razed, mighty warriors slain and the air will be filled with the cries of weeping women and children. There can be only one reason why - Conan from developers Nihilistic.

The game will be released for Xbox360 and PS3 and expected sometime in early 2008 with THQ promising "epic brutality" and "visceral combat" with multiple weapons, fighting styles, and interactive environments.

By the time of Conan’s release the Barbarian will have already made his virtual debut with the massively multiplayer online role-player in Funcom's upcoming Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures for the PC and Xbox 360.
