Fight Night Round 3 putting the gloves on mobile phones

Top boxing franchise to launch across European mobiles

NEWS: 13 March 2007 10:47 GMT by Chris Ford

Following the huge success of Fight Night on other platforms Electronic Arts has announced the European launch of Fight Night Round 3 for mobile phones.

Available for download across Europe from April 2007 and permitting fans to build and customise their boxer’s look and fighting style, the game aims to bring a different ring to mobiles.

As with Fight Night Round 3 on the other platforms, the mobile version is an action-packed game for both diehards and casual boxing alike as it has great jump-in-and-play.

Fight Night Round 3 has ten of the most famous boxers of all time, great graphics, up to five different fighting venues, and fans can create and design their own boxer to use in the ring.

“The Fight Night franchise has been hugely successful for EA SPORTS and we’re delighted to be able to bring the passion and drama to mobile gamers across Europe – we’re certain it will be a knock-out!”, said Javier Ferreira, VP European Publishing, EA Mobile.
