Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles come to Xbox Live Arcade

The original 1989 classic with enhanced features

NEWS: 15 March 2007 12:39 GMT by Stuart Miles

Xbox has gone turtles mad, not content with the demo and the next-gen game at the end of the month, the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is now available on Xbox Live Arcade.

Turtles fans keen to shout "Heroes in a half shell" will be able to download the 1989 arcade classic from the Xbox Live Arcade for Xbox 360 from today.

True to the original arcade classic, gamers will be able to choose from one of four Ninja Turtles: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello or Raphael and master their unique ninja weapons and abilities.

Gamers will have the unique opportunity to play through the original seven levels alone, or with up to three others co-operatively via Xbox Live.

Enhanced for Xbox Live Arcade include voice support, cooperative multiplayer mode over Xbox Live and leaderboards
The game costs 400 Microsoft Points.
