With the nation gearing up to don their red noses for charity, gamers are being urged to let their virtual selves join in by kitting out their Second Life characters.

Second Life, the 3D virtual world entirely built and owned by its residents, is hosting a red nose event and gamers can buy the famous red nose or a red nose t-shirt for their characters to wear.

It will cost gamers just 550 Linden Dollars to buy a T-Shirt or a nose, and with that £1 in real money will go directly to Comic Relief to help the poor in Africa and the UK.
