PS3 gamers hoping to get their hands on Elder Scrolls IV, F.E.A.R and Splinter Cell this Friday will be disappointed.

The games won't be available for day one launch.

The news will come as a set back to Sony as it draws ever closer to the UK launch this week.

Both Ubisoft and Vivendi admitted that some of their titles have slipped, by either a week in the case of Splinter Cell: Double Agent to the 30 March, or to the end of April as is the case with First Person Shooter F.E.A.R., which is now due 20 April and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on the 27 April.
