I-play's latest mobile line-up to include Metal Slug, Pillowfight and The Fast and the Furious

Old and new classics on I-play's to do list

NEWS: 27 March 2007 9:58 GMT by Chris Ford

I-play is up to its usual tricks by announcing the latest line-up of games to be released soon, and don’t you know, there are going to be a few sure fire winners.

Included are the fourth sequel of the racing title The Fast and the Furious, original IP Pillowfight and the third game of the arcade classic Metal Slug.

The Fast and the Furious will be the latest in the 6.5m paid-for-downloads series, and sees gamers step into the shoes of an ex-cop on the run from the law and trying to prove his innocence. Get from LA to Miami at breakneck speed and avenge yourself against the crime syndicate that framed you.

Gorgeous girls fighting each other with pillows? It sounds good just leaving it at that and Pillowfight delivers. Battle it out dressed as a French maid, cheerleader, or other saucy characters, and of course the trick is to have good wrist action.

Metal Slug Mobile 3 is everything you’d expect from a game of this pedigree. Sergeant Allen searches out and destroys everything, fighting to save his troops from the impending alien zombie invasion.

“Our latest line-up brings mobile gamers around the world a fantastic breadth of offering, from the latest sequel in our award winning, best selling racing Fast and Furious franchise, to cheeky fun with Pillowfight, right through to the brand new sequel to an arcade classic with Metal Slug Mobile 3”, said David Gosen, CEO of I-play.

“We’re delivering a winning set of ‘must have’ casual, ‘one thumb’ play games based on strong franchises that we have established on mobile. Great brands, simple and intuitive entertainment experiences all lead to outstanding fun for existing and new mobile users of every age.”
