There are celebrations going on at Evolution Studios as MotorStorm, the off-road racer, has found itself in the number one spot in the Europe, Japan and US charts.

Launched alongside the PS3 in all three territories, MotorStorm has become a gamers favourite, following in the footsteps of Evolution’s World Rally Championship series.

“To see MotorStorm top the European, the Japanese and the US PS3 charts is just fantastic”, says Martin Kenwright, CEO Evolution Studios.

“Developing MotorStorm to a standard we were all happy with was certainly a challenge – but the team here really delivered. Evolution has a reputation for delivering high quality racing titles, but the consensus was to come up with something really special for Sony’s new hardware.
