SCX for Mobile Phones … or Scalextric as you may remember it

The classic bedroom plastic track racer comes to mobiles

NEWS: 10 April 2007 9:21 GMT by Chris Ford

LemonQuest have decided to take a bunch of hard-to-put-together plastic track, and cars that fly off after taking a corner too fast and create SCX, a virtual version of Scalextric.

After a deal with Tecnitoys, LemonQuest have designed a racer that means gamers will have to watch their speed. Breaking will become all important (remember those corners!!!) as you race virtual drivers or up to 6 players.

You’ll also have a high level of input over your set-up. Break tension, fuel load, and pit stops strategy can all be controlled to give you the edge, and with a simple control system SCX will deliver high playability.
