Lost Planet to find orbit on PC

Xbox 360 smash is to jump to PC this summer

NEWS: 16 April 2007 10:13 GMT by Chris Ford

With news to hearten the hardest gaming heart, Capcom have announced that their Xbox 360 smash hit Lost Planet is to find its footing on PC this summer.

Aimed for June, the Sci-Fi shooter will make the jump with all you’d expect – multi-player modes, online gaming for up to 16 players and huge maps.

What is more, the PC version will include enhanced graphics … just take a look at the comparative screens. Deeper shadow and detailed textures will make the title jump out, and the new lobby interface will give gamers the option of using a mouse and keyboard, or gamepad controller.

“With the resurgence of the PC gaming market, it was a natural decision for us to deliver the Lost Planet experience to gamers on this platform”, said Jack Symon, director, brand marketing, Capcom Entertainment.

“By employing the latest and greatest technology available, the development team is able to tailor the game for this highly important audience.”
