Downhill Jam with Tony Hawk

The OG skate boy’s back to PS2 and Wii with speed on his mind

NEWS: 16 April 2007 10:28 GMT by Chris Ford

Gamers are going to have to make sure their pads are on tightly as Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam brings the fastest, most vertical downhill skateboard racing to the PS2 this Spring, and Wii later in the year.

Downhill Jam will take you on a world tour of notable steep slopes, from Machu Picchu high in the Peruvian Andes to the streets of San Francisco with its hazardous Lombard Street.

But of course, it’s not all about speed … there’ll be points for tricks as well, and opponents to beat to the finish line with over 100 events across eight environments. And of course there’s all the customisation that you could ever wish for - characters, sponsor and boards.

New for the PS2 version, there’ll be multi-player modes – split screen, race, trick attack, Slalom, as well as the exclusive PS2 Airtime, Mayhem and Yard Sale challenges.
