DS-Xtreme 2GB aims to put PSP out of business

New DS-Xtreme 2GB media enhancer gives audio/video functionality for DS and DS Lite

The DS-Xtreme 2GB is now available, giving DS and DS Lite gamers 2GB (2048MB) of on-board memory for $129.95/£65.

This new video game enhancer from DS-X claims to be 18 times larger than any other, and will allow gamers to use take their Nintendo handheld to the extremes of its potential.

Gamers will be able to launch free homebrew games written for the DS by independent developers, listen to audio tracks, view pictures and even watch quality video files on the DS.

The DS-Xtreme 2GB has also be designed for ease of use. Gamers can just connect the cartridge to a PC via the housed USB port and drag and drop all your homebrew games, applications, movies, audio files and more ready for instant playback on the device.

And with a memory of this size, there’s space for over 20 episodes of your favourite shows, over 50 albums and the complete library of available homebrew software.
