It's the long-awaited remake to the PlayStation hit which Sony Computer entertainment America (SCEA) and Incognito Entertainment hope will repeat the original’s success, this time on the PS3 sometime in the Autumn 2007.

In Warhawk, gamers buckle up for aerial combat where the skies swarm with enemy fighters, or do battle on the ground… the war is fought both in the heavens and on Terra Firma, where there are interactive landscapes and destructible cities.

Warhawk is an online gaming experience with the highest definition, permitting gamers to battle against and alongside the Warhawk online community. With Team Deathmatch, Territories Mode and Capture the Flag, it’s either going be with or without help while battling against constant waves of enemies.

Down on the ground collect combat vehicles with powerful weapons like jeeps, tanks and specialty transports, or slog it out on foot with rifles, flame throwers and grenades. But you won’t get far without aerial support.
