Press members who have received their formal E3 invitations are being surprised by the list of exhibiting companies, or rather the small size of it.

Everybody has been guessing that this year’s event would be smaller than last year’s but as it stands now it is 12 times smaller. Last year saw more than 400 exhibitors, this year 32 so far listed below.

In addition, the number of visitors is also expected to be much smaller at 3000-4000, down from 60,000 last year and 70,000 in 2005.
