Medal of Honor Airborne resets launch date

No explanation to change of schedule, nor reason for original dates

NEWS: 27 April 2007 1:37 GMT by Chris Ford

EA have announced new dates to its upcoming Medal of Honor Airborne, shifting it a month on in the summer.

The latest in the hit FPS franchise will be with us on August 31, having originally been scheduled for the end of June and beginning of July for the PS3 and 360 respectively.

“Medal of Honor Airborne is a new direction for the franchise introducing innovations that redefine the series as well as impact the FPS genre as a whole", explained Neil Young, VP and General Manager at EALA.

“We can’t wait for August when everyone can experience the new Medal of Honor, the first WWII game that allows the player to land anywhere and truly fight the way they want to.”
