Ken Kutaragi, the conceptual "Father of PlayStation", has been getting something off his chest, and all despite the fact that he is stepping down.

In an interview for the EE Times, Kutaragi said he has already thought about PS4, 5 and 6, giving designers at Sony ideas for future design models, focusing on exploiting the opportunities offered by connectivity.

"The design concept of the Cell processor is the network processor", he said.

"We've introduced PS3 in Europe, so now I can openly talk about future plans”, he continued.

"As a matter of course, I have the vision of Playstation 4, 5 and 6, which will merge into the network."
