Portable gaming fans should be pleased at the news that Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) has released – a whole host of new PSP titles.

The list of new games includes some famous old favourites foremost of which is Syphon Filter which returns with Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow out in September.

Also up is SOCOM: Tactical Strike which will be the third in the series of PSP games under the franchise. In a departure from past form, the analogue stick is out on this one and in comes control with a movement cursor.

The arcade-style sequel Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice will also be out on the PSP later in the year.

Additionally, SCEA announced that the downloadable content service should be available by the autumn having been delayed from its original launch of this March gone.
