Gran Turismo Cockpit View might be in the offing

A GT first if trial makes it to the game copy

NEWS: 22 May 2007 0:02 GMT by Chris Ford Following a French TV channel’s visit to the Polyphony offices in Japan, details have emerged of work being done on cockpit views for Gran Turismo 5. The tour was overseen by GT creator Kazunori Yamauchi who showed channel M6 the footage from the latest installment of the multi-million racer. Most notable, if the work makes it to the final cut of the game, is that a cockpit view would be a GT first. Prior games have included a bumper view but never shown the car’s dashboards. Meticulous in its detail, working on car’s interiors will give GT artists and programmers a lot of overtime which is sure to go down well with all GT fans.
