With news of the latest Tom Clancy game due out for the 360 and PC in the fourth quarter of this year, Ubisoft are promising a Splinter Cell like no other.

Conviction puts the gamers is a fugitives shoes. The government are after you, not just the police. You’ll need to improvise and build up a network of trusted friends who’ll give you the means to get your hands on the gadgets and weapons that’ll let you survive.

First up is the fact that everything is usable… the virtual world is your inventory letting you adapt to stay one step ahead of the GMen on your tail. And you’ll need it as your enemies will actively seek you out.

However, you’ll be able to use the world around you to blend in… use Joe Normal as cover when moving around, or create panic in a crowd to divert attention and help you escape.

Of course there’s a multi-player option too, but how will you be able to spot friend from foe in a crowd?
