The twist is that while it is being broadcast on BBC2 at 7pm, it is also going to shown at the Rivers Run Red Cinema in Second Life. Rivers Run Red is a company which has built a multi-million pound turnover by trading inside virtual worlds. While looking at the growth of MMOs the programme will also include interviews with David Solari, vice president of Codemasters online gaming, who’ll be talking about The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar. Topically, the show will also feature virtual crime and such issues as gold farming.
