Warhammer Website sees European launch

Fans can now sign up for the beta test

NEWS: 31 May 2007 13:08 GMT by Chris Ford

All fantasy fans will be heartened to hear that the European Warhammer Online site is now open for business and registration for the beta is now underway.

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning will launch in early 2008 but not before being put to the test by GOA and Mythic with the help of the fans. (see link below)

“We can’t wait to embark on WAR’s adventures with players from across Europe,” commented Ghislaine Le Rhun, Senior Vice President of GOA.

“Opening subscription applications for the closed beta test today is the first step on the road to uniting the whole of Europe in battle. Those fortunate enough to be selected also have the hugely important role of being able to shape the WAR world by offering essential feedback on their experiences to the development team at EA Mythic.”

Warhammer® Online: Age of Reckoning will launch simultaneously in the US and across Europe and is based on Games Workshop’s popular Warhammer fantasy world. The game will feature next generation Realm vs. Realm (RvR) gameplay that integrates Player vs. Player (PvP) and Player vs. Environment (PvE) combat into a seamless MMO experience.
