The move, makes Company of Heroes the first commercially available DirectX 10 Windows PC game.

The DirectX 10 patch adds numerous enhancements to the title’s critically acclaimed game-play, including significant improvements to model and map details, lighting, shadows, and overall image quality.

The DirectX 10 patch is available for systems running Microsoft Windows Vista with a DX10 compatible graphics card, and takes advantage of the many new features available on DX10 compatible hardware, such as geometry instancing, improved per-pixel lighting and shadow calculations, advanced alpha blending, and new anti-aliasing techniques.
