Nintendo DS Camera to launch in Japan

New accessory pairs up with Face Training game

NEWS: 4 July 2007 13:06 GMT by Chris Ford

After much speculation as to the possible uses of the DS’ GBA slot, a camera has been launched for the Nintendo DS in Japan.

Not too much is known about the camera apart from what can be seen in the photo – that it is white and slots into the GBA port, and some think that it may only be for the DS Lite.

The camera has been released to coincide with a new title, Face Training, out August 2, which prompts gamers to exercise their faces … sounds strange but trust the Japanese to come up with something like that.

With Face Training the camera displays a real-time video of your face so you can compare it with the virtual image.
