Sony has let it be known that fans should keep a close eye on what the Japanese giant has to say at the upcoming E3 as there are going to be big and exciting revelations, particularly for European gamers.

When asked about the details the spokesperson for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe said, "We are releasing a statement on Thursday during E3 that relates to the American announcement."

So, Sony are being coy about what exactly the big news is but it is expected that it has to do with its European pricing policy following big price cuts in North America.

Just today, Sony confirmed that it is knocking $100 off the retail price of the 60Gb PS3, as well a launching an 80Gb model later this year.
