Tacked on to the end of the official info sent out about the PSP Slim & Lite was the following message from Sony:

"SCEE (Sony Computer Entertainment Europe) will be making an announcement about UK/European PS3 pricing on the morning of Friday July 13th".

Friday 13th, eh? Lucky for some, we hope - all that remains to be seen is how lucky - Americans were granted a $100 PS3 discount earlier in the week.

We will bring you the official Sony announcement as soon as we have it.
