In news set to sink parent’s hearts Nintendo has said that it thinks that there may be a repeat of last winter when there was a shortage of Wiis in the shops.

So, a second Christmas without enough consoles on the shelves despite an E3 full of new products such as the Wii Zapper, Wii Wheel, and new Wii Fit software.

George Harrison, senior VP of marketing said, "There is no guarantee that we are not going to have 'out-of-stocks' this holiday season,

"If you see one, buy it. Don't assume that you can come back later and find one."

Harrison continued to say that Nintendo is looking into its production schedule in order to sort the problem but it is unlikely to affect supplies this year.
